As a Senior Data Scientist, Growth, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s growth marketing strategy. You’ll apply rigorous analysis, experimentation, and modeling to optimize marketing spend, expand the customer base, and strengthen long-term brand equity.You will:
  • Develop and help execute a comprehensive growth marketing analytics strategy aligned with business goals and brand values.
  • Optimize marketing spend across channels to drive efficient, high-value customer acquisition.
  • Take a hands-on role in analyzing and allocating spend across major paid channels.
  • Design, deploy, and analyze A/B experiments and causal inference frameworks to evaluate marketing performance.
  • Interpret data from internal systems and third-party platforms to generate insights that optimize long-run business health.
  • Communicate findings clearly to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to define key metrics, performance targets, and growth budgets.
  • Forecast and allocate long-run marketing spend while accounting for seasonality, geographic expansion, and evolving business dynamics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design, evaluate, and optimize promotional strategies, including offer structure, timing, and frequency.
  • Act as a thought leader on growth analytics, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
3. Ideal Background
The ideal candidate is a growth-oriented data scientist with strong statistical intuition, marketing experience, and the ability to influence strategy through data.
  • 5+ years of hands-on data science experience, with a focus on marketing optimization or growth analytics.
  • Experience managing or analyzing spend across major advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok).
  • Strong foundation in statistics, causal inference, experimentation, and modeling.
  • Experience designing and analyzing experiments in partnership with third-party ad platforms.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or R.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear business insights.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Alignment with a mission focused on health, sustainability, and positive consumer impact.
4. Preferred
  • Experience in a direct-to-consumer (D2C) or subscription-based business.
  • Exposure to long-term growth modeling, attribution challenges, or portfolio-level marketing optimization.
  • Comfort working closely with executive leadership on strategy and budget decisions.
5. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $152,000 – $180,000 USD base, depending on experience.
  • Work Model: Fully remote within the United States.
