Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Scientist / Data Analyst with strong expertise in time series forecasting and marketing analytics to join our team. In this role, you will deliver data-driven insights and forecasting solutions that directly influence marketing performance and business strategy.
You will be responsible for consolidating data from multiple sources, developing robust forecasting models, automating Python-based workflows, and building dashboards that enable informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Data Consolidation & Management
- Collect, clean, and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources (CRM, marketing platforms, sales systems, web analytics, etc.).
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and documentation of data pipelines.
- Design and maintain scalable data models for forecasting and reporting.
- Time Series Forecasting
- Develop and deploy advanced time series forecasting models for marketing performance, revenue, demand, and campaign effectiveness.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques (ARIMA/SARIMA, Prophet, XGBoost, LSTM, etc.).
- Perform back-testing, validation, and performance monitoring of forecasting models.
- Incorporate seasonality, trends, promotions, and external drivers into models.
- Marketing Analytics
- Analyze marketing performance metrics including CAC, ROI, conversion rates, attribution, and campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct scenario analysis and budget forecasting.
- Provide actionable insights to improve marketing efficiency and growth.
- Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Build and maintain automated data pipelines and forecasting workflows using Python.
- Schedule and monitor automated jobs.
- Optimize code for scalability and performance.
- Dashboarding & Reporting
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate forecasts and marketing performance.
- Translate complex analytics into clear business insights for stakeholders.
- Support executive-level reporting with data-driven recommendations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with client stakeholders including marketing, finance, and strategy teams.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner.
- Operate effectively within a vendor-client engagement model.
Eligibility Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.
- Strong expertise in time series forecasting techniques and statistical modeling.
- Proven experience in marketing analytics and performance measurement.
- Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, etc.).
- Experience building automated workflows and reusable data pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Analytical and quantitative mindset
- Strong attention to detail and data quality
- Ability to translate technical insights into business recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Valid work authorization status in the US
In the US, the target base salary for this role is up to $150,000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
